Follow us on Social Media! We have some new accounts:
Twitter has permanently suspended our account for this post, Teaching About Elections, which, they claim, violated their Twitter Rules (although we can’t get them to tell us which rule, exactly). We have added Parler, a free speech Twitter alternative, which we are loving! Look us up!
Now as many of you know, Facebook and Twitter pulled out all the stops to censor and ban people on social media leading up to the recent election. There is a grassroots boycott of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for November 13 – this Friday! through December 1; and due to our recent suspension from Twitter, we are joining in. If you are used to seeing our posts on one of these forums, try Parler or MeWe for the next few weeks, where we post the exact same content.
I realize Facebook and Twitter are probably too big to notice a grassroots boycott. But what else can we do? They have the power to ban us, and there is nothing we can do about it? Together we will try to send a message in the only way we can.
And if you have any questions at all pertaining to our books, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
