We believe we have fixed the conflict with the eBook downloading. It turns out a recent WordPress update conflicted with our auto download links, but that has been resolved. Many thanks to our wonderful tech company, e9designs, for helping us as always. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter any problems at all. Thank you for your patience!
Today is our first day open following the Passover/ Unleavened Bread holiday. Unfortunately, beginning about Saturday, the download link for eBooks has been generating the following error:
The download link has been used too many times.
We are aware of the problem. While we are fixing it, we are sending everyone who ordered an eBook their file attached by email. If you purchased an eBook and your download link did not work, please send us an email at info [at] nothingnewpress [dot] com and we will send your eBook to you by email right away.
Update: It turns out WordPress, which we use for our operating base, updated their code late last week, and the new code is causing some conflicts. We are working on getting it resolved as soon as possible! We want everyone who bought an eBook to receive their eBook. If your purchase is not resolved, please let us know right away and we will resolve it. Thank you.
We are excited to announce that for the past week we have been working behind the scenes to install a completely new shopping cart, which solves the various bugs and glitches our customers were experiencing with our old shopping cart. Customers should experience a smooth and seamless single checkout whether purchasing print books, eBooks, or a combination of both. Shipping is now calculated automatically based on shipping destination, and we were able to open shipping to international markets!
Once more we must thank e9designs.com for recommending a professional and easy to use shopping cart solution to replace our old system, and for their invaluable help in making a painless and smooth transition!
All that is to say, if you experience a bug or glitch in your transaction, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com. Although we think we have thoroughly tested every aspect of the new cart and checkout, you never know. We want to help you and make everything right. We love our customers!
Christine was attempting to write on history topics here at Nothing New Press, but she found a better solution. Rather than have all her blogs scattered across the Internet, each with its own webspace (which made keeping them updated more difficult), she has realized a long- cherished dream to have them all under her own Internet roof. A Little Perspective is now up and running, and contains all her online content from 2005, including her original A Little Perspective blog hosted at the homeschooling blogger network; no log in or passwords required! She is posting there daily: A Little Perspective (current events and education); Christine’s Bible Study (daily posts from her notes and research); Biblical Homeschooling (homeschooling theory and practice); Family Foundations (building families on the rock of Jesus Christ); The Transformed Home (the home- and God- centered life); and Christine’s Kitchen. History topics now appear several times a week at the history page of A Little Perspective; those posts also appear on the Nothing New Press Facebook page. Many thanks go to the wonderful folks at e9designs, who are also responsible for getting this website functioning again. If you need website design or tech help, you cannot find better (and you are helping fellow homeschoolers!).
This website will continue to post Nothing New Press book and company news. You can also follow Christine’s Stop Common Core, Homeschooling, Homeschool News, Why We Homeschool, and History boards on Pinterest.
